This is a new workshop and will be taught virtually through Pocosin Arts on Zoom’s video platform! You will have access to recordings for 60 days after the workshop ends and between workshop sessions.

Cold connections open new design possibilities while relying on inexpensive tools, making them ideal for expanding your skills, working small-scale, or creating larger, more complex pieces without a traditional studio setup. Students will learn several types of rivets including mushroom, tube, blind, and nailhead rivets plus staples, stitching, and brads. Cold connections provide freedom to combine unexpected elements, materials, and surface treatments – unlock fresh ways to build inventive jewelry!

Students should be comfortable with basic sawing and filing processes.
